Darrell Steenhoff

My name is Darrell Steenhoff and I have been involved in the mining industry for over 2 decades now. I was born and raised in the historic mining area of the Slocan Valley in British Columbia, Canada and I come from a family that settled in the area to work in the mines. I started my career as an underground miner shortly after high school and over the years I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in underground development and construction. I remain actively involved in the mining industry today.

I have a deep interest in the rich history of mining in my local area. I take pride in my work, focusing on safety, efficiency, and innovation to push the industry forward. I enjoy passing on my knowledge to the next generation of miners. I look forward to continuing learning and growing in this field. I take great pride in being a part of an industry that has shaped the economy and character of my community for generations.

When I am not working, I enjoy life with my wife and two children on Slocan Lake, up in the mountains or on the golf course.
